Craig Holiday Haynes - his middle name being a reverence to the late, great Billie Holiday - is the son of legendary jazz drummer Roy Haynes and for the past few decades he has been the drummer of the Sun Ra Arkestra - one of the most influential, groundbreaking jazz bands in the world. In May 2017, the New York based Craig Holiday Haynes started a second career as the voice of STRRR TV - introducing selectors for all episodes. In his STRRR episode, Haynes takes us on a trip down memory lane, presenting to us rare clips of Sun Ra, Bob Dylan and Billie Holiday - as well as arguably the world's best dance choreography ever from the film "Stormy Weather".
