Max Cooper is a London-based electronic music producer. In his multi-dimensional live shows he incorporates electronic music, visual art and technology and creates immersive experiences that go beyond the usual. Having earned a PhD in computational biology in 2008 his work has steadily been influenced by his interest in science such as 2017s „Emergence“ where he collaborated with mathematicians, scientists and visual artists to create a comprehensive piece of work about natural laws and processes. In this Strrr episode he addresses how groundbreaking music videos and cinematography inspire his own work, and how they can be seen as blueprints for what he wants to achieve with his art.
